July 25, 2009
Today was a better day. When we got to the hospital we went to Dwayne's room first and while we were there Dwayne was laughing and smiling and that was just great. That has been the first time i have seem him smile while we were there. We were telling him how he complained to the nurses about being dehydrated and how thirsty he was and thats all that he wanted was some water. Well today was the first time he was able to have water and he was so happy. Jared on the other hand is still in the ICU. He is still doing about the same from the last post. He has lost lot of weight so he doesn't look that great. We are hoping that he will improve here soon. But they still need lots of prayers. We also found out the Kenncott is doing a fund raiser for them on the 8th of August. They are doing a car show in grantsville. So that is great!!! Thank You!!!! We are so greatful to all those who have been such a great help to Michelle. Everyone who is watching Lexis and Tyler and all those who have watched after the animals or anyone that has come to the hospital or those that have donated money. I know that it has not gone unnoticed. We are greatful for everyone. THANK YOU!!!

Michelle,
ReplyDeleteI am so, so , so sorry to hear about this accident. I can not even begin to imagine what you are going through. Jared has been such a wonderful person to me at work and he has always had a kind work to say about everything. I don't know why this would happen to such a great person. I know that you are busy with all that you have going on so I have not called to put even more burden upon you. I am constantly thinking of you and your family and if there is ANYTHING IN THE WORLD that we can do for you please let me know. I understand that Dwayne is doing a little better, that is wonderful. I hope he has a very quick recovery. As for Jared, I know that he is strong enough to pull through this. If there is anything I can do please do not hesitate to call me.
My thoughts are with you and your family.
Kym Giles--Power Plant
The fundraiser that the community of grantsville and the power plant workers are putting on is on the 8th. It all starts at 9:00 a.m. with registration for the car show ,thats when the car wash starts and it will end after we wash the last car. At noon we will be having a spagetti lunch, and a silent auction starting at two and ends at 4:00.
ReplyDeleteI amazes me the support from the community and from jareds co workers. you can tell the deep impact that both jared and Dwayne have had on all these people.
If anyone has any questions on the fundraiser please give me a call, Chris Trowbridge 801-718-9133
Thank you for creating this blog. It's nice to be able to get updates on how Jared and Dwayne are doing. Jared and Michelle are thought highly of by my family and we will keep them in our prayers.
ReplyDeleteWe love you! We pray for you every day. Infact our little Elle who is now 5 includes Dwayne and Jared in her prayers and when she forgets their names she says "what's the name of those two boys" after reminded she continues on praying that they get home soon and that they get better in the hospital. Know that you are loved and we think about you daily.
ReplyDeleteLove you all...you're in our prayers.
